your feet, your shoes

the philosophy behind optimal design

The Pipistrelle will be our first ‘production’ shoe!

The task was straightforward… “Connect the foot to the bike”, while applying Ockham’s Razor: “the simplest solution is usually the correct one”.

Every step of the way we strove for less material and fewer parts. Every detail had to ‘buy’ its place on the shoe through a clear performance gain.

Test rider feedback has been good!

“I was super impressed … pushing and pulling in the shoes even at high power felt awesome. It literally feels as if someone has attached a cleat on the bottom of my foot!

“…they’re just awesome, the gain is serious!

< 75 grams per shoe

Weighing in at less than 150 grams per pair, we believe the Pipistrelle is currently the lightest cycling shoe. It is more than just a shoe though - it is the best way we’ve found to connect your feet to your bike.

there is no standard

Every foot is different and so every Pipistrelle is different.

Any cleat type can be accommodated and positioned precisely according to your foot geometry.

Go for the classic lacquered carbon finish or go wild with a hydrographic coating.

Raw Velcro is the lightest, but perhaps you’d like something else to fasten your shoes?
