moulding

We really want to get to know you and your feet! The process starts with an innovative foot moulding technique and a discussion about what you want to get out of your shoes.

geometry

The shape of your feet is manipulated via a suite of computational geometry tools to generate the internal shape of your shoes.

no more cleat position guesswork

Cleat fittings are precisely located with respect to your foot geometry, taking the guesswork out of pedalling mechanics. The custom design brings the cleat fittings to with 1 mm of the sole of your foot. Any pedal/cleat manufacturer can be specified.

custom tooling

To make a custom shoe, we need to make a new custom mould for every shoe! These moulds are produced in-house on purpose-built machines from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified materials.

the layup

After all the computational and machine work, now the shoe itself is created by hand laying UK supplied carbon fibre into the moulds, curing under heat and pressure, before applying the final finish.

fittings

Although we leverage an arsenal of computational methods in design and manufacture, key elements of the process rely on tradition and workmanship: from taking the first mould of your feet and the painstaking lay-up of the composite shoe structure, through to the little things, like turning the cleat fittings and applying the straps/fastenings.

the ride

We are committed to delivering and maintaining shoes that you continue to be delighted with. This may require a number of fitting sessions to get them just the way you want. We’ll also be there to sort out any accidental damage.
